Hahaha OMG!! Seriously, Some of the things that these girlfriends say just blows my mind. Its like they have nothing else to do but sit around and find things to create drama out of.
You just need to find the right ones and then things will be ok. You'll learn that the people at the same duty station as you, and in the same command as you, become your lifeline. Though, like with any social group, there will always be some drama.
Drama is a way many people cope with life. They have to create a reason to feel part of the world. It's complicated as you know. Also, annoying.
